Corporate Planning Manager

About the role

The Corporate Planning Manager will support senior management by delivering timely performance analysis, clear business insights, and practical recommendations. This role is designed to develop future leaders in corporate planning and performance management within Daiichi Life Myanmar.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate business planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management activities.
• Analyze financial and business performance, identify trends, risks and opportunities, and provide actionable insights.
• Prepare and consolidate management reports, business plans, budgets and forecasts.
• Collaborate with departments and stakeholders to gather information, challenge assumptions and support decision‑making.
• Drive continuous improvement in planning, reporting and performance management processes.

Required profile

• Advanced Excel skills.
• Basic understanding of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet).
• Intellectual curiosity with ability to spot errors, inconsistencies and unusual trends.
• Strong ability to summarize complex information and communicate it clearly.
• High ownership, attention to detail and ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or related field.
