Business Development Manager

About the role

The Business Development Manager will drive the strategic growth of Global Technology Group and its subsidiaries by identifying new market opportunities, building partner relationships, and supporting the launch of innovative services. This role requires strong communication, a commercial mindset, and a solid grasp of technology trends.

Key responsibilities

• Identify new business leads, partnerships, and service expansion opportunities in existing and new markets.
• Collaborate with internal teams to evaluate feasibility, prepare proposals, and coordinate execution plans.
• Support the development of bundled offerings across business units.
• Conduct market research on customer needs, competitor activities, and emerging technology trends such as cloud, IoT, and managed services.
• Reach out to potential partners or vendors to explore collaboration opportunities.
• Prepare business cases, project plans, commercial proposals, and investment decks for new opportunities.
• Assist in negotiations with external partners, vendors, or clients, coordinating with legal and finance teams.
• Work across departments to align business development plans and monitor project progress.
• Maintain a pipeline of active opportunities and provide regular summaries for senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering or related field (MBA preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or strategic partnerships, preferably in telecom or technology.
• Strong communication, research, and commercial proposal writing abilities.
• Ability to translate technical product value into business benefits.
• Fluency in English and Myanmar.
