Backend Developer – Financial Services

About the role
We are looking for a Backend Developer with strong expertise in .NET Core and solid proficiency in Java/Spring Boot to design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high‑performance backend systems for financial services.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using .NET Core and Java/Spring Boot.
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints for mobile and web applications.
- Manage and optimise SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Implement security, authentication, and authorisation best practices.
- Integrate with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and mentor junior developers.
- Troubleshoot, monitor, and optimise backend performance and reliability.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering or related field.
- 3–5 years of backend development experience.
- Experience in FinTech, banking, payment, digital wallet or remittance services is highly preferred.

- SQL (MS SQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases

- Unit and integration testing
- Microservices architecture, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Redis (nice to have)
