Assistant Logistics Manager (SLDS)

About the role

We are seeking an Assistant Logistics Manager to support our supply chain operations. The role works closely with Sales, Finance and Logistics teams to ensure purchase orders, shipments and regulatory processes are handled efficiently and in line with ISO standards.

Key responsibilities

• Initiate purchase orders based on Sales requests and obtain Finance approvals.
• Monitor purchase order progress, verify delivery dates and coordinate with suppliers and Sales for timely receipt of goods.
• Support license application and customs clearance to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Arrange cost‑effective, on‑time shipments by coordinating with relevant teams.
• Track purchase orders and shipment status, providing weekly and monthly reports.
• Maintain and update data on shipment, freight and purchase order status for accurate record‑keeping.
• Monitor operations against ISO standards and prepare requirements for ISO audit assessments.
• Train and oversee team members to align operational flows with internal procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Logistics Manager or CEO.

Required profile

• Graduate (preferably medical field) with a Diploma in Supply Chain Management.
• Minimum 5 years of logistics management experience, demonstrating regulatory compliance and supply chain optimisation.
• Advanced proficiency in logistics software and technologies for operational optimisation.
• Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and coordination skills.
