Assistant Facilities Engineer

About the role

The Assistant Facilities Engineer supports the operation and maintenance of all mechanical and electrical systems within the centre, ensuring safety and comfort for tenants and employees.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain ACMV (air‑conditioning, mechanical ventilation) systems and associated electrical equipment.
• Supervise chiller, cooling tower, split units, AHU, FCU, refrigeration, freezer and ice‑machine rooms.
• Perform welding, fire‑alarm system maintenance, plumbing, kitchen‑equipment upkeep, and structural, electronic and sound‑equipment servicing.
• Ensure maintenance orders are completed on time and assist with general department tasks.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree preferably in hospitality or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years industry experience, at least 1 year as an ACMV technician.
• Experience in 3*, 4* or 5* resort/business environments.
• Familiarity with international centre engineering standards.

Required skills

• ACMV system operation and maintenance.
• Welding and fire‑alarm system servicing.
• Refrigeration, freezer and ice‑machine maintenance.
• Plumbing and kitchen‑equipment upkeep.
• Chiller, cooling‑tower, split‑unit, AHU and FCU handling.
• Fuel and gas system knowledge.
