About the role
IMPACT Initiatives is seeking an Assessment Specialist to strengthen humanitarian data collection, analysis and coordination in Myanmar. Based in Yangon, you will work under the Country Representative/Research Manager and collaborate with OCHA, UN agencies, INGOs and national partners.
Key responsibilities
- Co‑chair the Myanmar Needs Monitoring and Analysis Working Group (NMAWG) and represent IMPACT within the Inter‑Cluster Coordination Group.
- Facilitate regular working‑group meetings, promote data sharing, and develop SOPs on data protection and information exchange.
- Lead joint analysis for the Data Enablers consortium, identify information gaps and produce analytical outputs.
- Support rapid needs assessments during sudden‑onset emergencies.
- Contribute to IMPACT’s country strategy, donor engagement, project concept‑ualisation, reporting and M&E.
Required profile
- Minimum 4 years of experience in humanitarian assessment, research, evaluation or program management.
- Proven ability to network with senior external partners (UN, donors, NGOs) and to operate in a cross‑cultural environment.
- Strong analytical and critical‑thinking skills with experience interpreting complex quantitative and qualitative data.
- Familiarity with the humanitarian aid system and coordination forums.

What we offer
- Competitive monthly salary of 3 180 CHF – 3 240 CHF (before tax).
- Monthly living allowance of 300 USD.
