Area Sales Manager

About the role

The Area Sales Manager will lead sales activities for our FMCG and beverage portfolio across the Mawlamyine region. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, and building strong relationships with key customers and distribution partners.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet or exceed targets.
• Identify new business opportunities and grow the customer base.
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with wholesalers, distributors, and key accounts.
• Monitor market trends, competitor actions, and provide actionable insights.
• Lead, coach, and manage the local sales team to achieve performance goals.
• Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance updates for management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of sales experience in FMCG or a related industry, preferably in beverages.
• Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
• Strong knowledge of traditional trade and distributor management.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship‑building abilities.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
