Business Development Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and results‑driven Business Development Manager to expand our solar power business, create new opportunities, and drive revenue growth in the renewable energy sector.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve revenue targets.
• Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities in the solar and renewable energy market.
• Lead tender acquisition and bid management activities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with government bodies, developers, consultants, EPC contractors, and corporate clients.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals in collaboration with the engineering team.
• Negotiate commercial proposals, contracts, and agreements.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis.
• Work closely with engineering, procurement, project, finance, and operations teams.
• Maintain sales pipelines and achieve business development KPIs and revenue objectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Renewable Energy Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, sales, tender management, or project development.
• Experience in solar, renewable energy, engineering, or EPC projects is highly preferred.
• Proven track record in tender acquisition, bid management, and project negotiation.
• Good understanding of solar PV systems and EPC projects.
• Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and networking skills.
• Commercial mindset with a focus on business development.
• Willingness to travel when required.
