Area Manager

About the role

The Area Manager will lead agent acquisition and expand township coverage, driving strategic market penetration to achieve recruitment targets across assigned territories.

Key responsibilities

• Drive agent acquisition and expand township coverage to meet monthly and yearly recruitment targets.
• Lead and supervise Territory Executives and field teams, set KPIs, monitor performance, conduct coaching and field visits.
• Ensure smooth agent operational activities, resolve issues and complaints, and coordinate with internal teams.
• Track transaction growth, analyze area performance, and prepare weekly and monthly reports.
• Maintain market insights, collect feedback, and report findings to management.
• Ensure compliance with operational guidelines, KYC requirements, and manage branding activities within the territory.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management or related field.
• Minimum 3 years experience in sales, field operations or agent/merchant network management, preferably in fintech, telecom, banking or FMCG.
• Strong leadership, negotiation and communication abilities.
• Willingness to travel frequently within assigned areas.
