AI-First Software Developer

About the role

Noca AI is seeking an AI‑First Software Developer to join its founding team. This fully remote position focuses on building the core infrastructure and platform from scratch, using AI‑generated code as the primary development method.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and ship systems using an AI‑first workflow with tools such as Cursor and Claude Code Agent Teams.
• Design, implement, and deploy microservices on Kubernetes and AWS Lambda.
• Provision and maintain scalable infrastructure with Terraform.
• Lead backend development in Node.js, emphasizing event‑driven, asynchronous programming.
• Integrate and optimize connections with CRM, ERP, and payment processing systems.
• Design efficient data structures and processing pipelines for complex data problems.
• Implement deployment automation and streamline cloud infrastructure processes.

Required profile

• 7+ years of backend development experience, especially with microservices and cloud environments.
• Hands‑on experience using AI coding assistants for the majority of code generation.
• Strong focus on production‑quality output and rapid iteration.
