Accountant & HR Officer

About the role

The position combines full‑cycle accounting responsibilities with core HR functions for ITL Myanmar, a logistics and air‑cargo transport company. You will report to the Regional Accounting Head, Regional HR Head and Country Manager while interacting with customers and bankers.

Key responsibilities

• Process bank payments, issue invoices, record all cash and bank transactions, and maintain accurate accounting entries for revenue, COGS, expenses, fixed assets and payroll.
• Perform regular reconciliations of cash, bank balances, AR/AP schedules, and ensure alignment between eFMS, Bravo and CSR systems.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing, tax filings, audit processes and maintain complete filing of supporting documents.
• Review payroll for compliance with Myanmar regulations, process salary payments, and act as liaison with local authorities on tax and social insurance matters.
• Stay updated on Myanmar labour laws, support recruitment and training activities, and communicate HR updates to the HQ C&B team.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting and taxation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Relevant HR experience and knowledge of Myanmar labour and tax regulations.
• Fluent English (listening, speaking, reading, writing).
• Detail‑oriented, meticulous, hard‑working and able to work in a team.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and Myanmar taxation.
• Advanced MS Office skills.
