Accountant – Financial Reporting & Audits

About the role

We are looking for an Accountant to manage daily financial transactions, prepare reports and support audit activities. The role involves handling accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, inventory and fixed‑asset accounting, and assisting with management accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Record and maintain daily financial transactions and accounting records.
• Prepare journal entries, ledger accounts and perform reconciliations.
• Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable, verify cash receipts and payments.
• Conduct regular bank reconciliations and ensure data accuracy.
• Maintain inventory records, reconcile physical stock, and prepare inventory reports.
• Manage the fixed‑asset register, record acquisitions, disposals, transfers and calculate depreciation.
• Prepare inventory, fixed‑asset and management reports for audit and management purposes.
• Assist in the preparation of management accounts and financial statements.
• Maintain proper documentation, support internal/external audits and tax‑related matters.

Required profile

• Graduate with LCCI Level III, ACCA Part I or B.Com.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an accounting role.
• Strong English reading and writing skills.
• Ability to work independently with high integrity and confidentiality.
• Excellent time‑management and organizational abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in accounting software.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
