Human Resources Manager (P-4) – Fixed Term – Yangon

About the role

UNICEF is seeking a senior Human Resources Manager (P‑4) on a fixed‑term basis to lead HR activities in Yangon, Myanmar. The role combines strategic HR leadership with hands‑on implementation, supporting senior management and advancing HR practices across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert HR advice and policy direction to senior management.
• Lead a team of HR professionals, overseeing recruitment, talent management, performance management and employee relations.
• Design and implement strategic HR initiatives that align with UNICEF’s business objectives.
• Manage complex HR projects, including workforce planning, learning and development, and diversity and inclusion programs.
• Utilise HR data analytics to inform decision‑making and improve service delivery.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or equivalent in Human Resources Management, Business Management, International Relations, Psychology, Law or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in HR, talent management, workforce planning, employee relations, performance management, learning and development, organizational development or HR policy.
• Proven ability to develop innovative HR solutions and handle complex, non‑standard HR issues.
