Tax & Legal Internship in Yangon

About the role

Join Deloitte’s Tax & Legal team in Yangon as an intern and gain hands‑on experience supporting both corporate and personal tax services as well as immigration compliance. You will work closely with senior consultants to learn Deloitte’s methodologies and contribute to client‑facing deliverables.

Key responsibilities

• Learn Deloitte’s proposal, client acceptance and maintenance procedures.
• Prepare presentation slides for client meetings and webinars.
• Assist in the preparation of corporate tax computations and direct/indirect tax returns.
• Support the preparation of personal income tax computations and returns.
• Draft immigration documentation, complete visa application forms and liaise with immigration authorities.
• Communicate with tax officers and immigration officials on behalf of clients.
• Monitor immigration‑related news and ensure compliance with Deloitte quality standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in commerce, business or a related field.
• Strong interest in tax, legal and immigration matters.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Commitment to personal learning and development.
