About the role
The HR Assistant is responsible for delivering high‑quality HR services to the Country Office, ensuring accurate data entry and client‑oriented support that enhances UNDP’s HR management capabilities.
Key responsibilities
- Implementation of HR strategies and services for the Country Office.
- Support staff career management, performance appraisal and learning plans.
- Prepare job descriptions, vacancy announcements and assist interview panels.
- Maintain HR records, staffing tables and CO rosters, ensuring compliance with UN/UNDP policies.
- Track all HR transactions (recruitment, benefits, earnings, adjustments, separations) in the Atlas system.
- Provide data for UN‑related surveys, salary and hardship studies, and contribute to knowledge sharing.
