Cash, Food and Livelihood Manager

About the role

The Cash, Food and Livelihood Manager provides strategic leadership for a portfolio of multi‑sector projects in Myanmar, ensuring alignment with World Vision’s mission and the fragile context of the country. The role combines programme oversight, donor engagement, and risk management while modelling Christian values and inclusive leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Lead strategic planning, budgeting, and integrated work planning for a portfolio of WVIM projects and grants.
• Supervise Project Managers, ensuring on‑time, on‑budget delivery, quality standards, and compliance with donor and safeguarding requirements.
• Serve as primary liaison to donors, partners, UN agencies and private sector actors, driving fundraising, proposal development and high‑quality reporting.
• Coordinate cross‑sector integration across WASH, Livelihoods, Nutrition, Education, Child Protection and other areas.
• Oversee risk identification, mitigation, security protocols and ensure organizational integrity and audit readiness.
• Promote learning, evidence‑based programming, innovation and climate‑resilient approaches through MEAL and knowledge‑management teams.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in International Development, Public Policy, Humanitarian Studies or related field.
• Minimum 5 years progressive leadership experience in INGO or humanitarian settings, managing large multi‑donor portfolios.
• Proven track record in donor relationship management, fundraising and high‑performance team leadership.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in conflict‑affected or fragile environments.
• Excellent English (spoken and written); basic Myanmar language is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel frequently to remote field sites and work a mix of in‑person and remote arrangements.
