About the role
UNICEF Myanmar is seeking an experienced consultant to lead a comprehensive review of its Adolescent Digital Skilling Programme. The 8‑month, office‑based assignment in Yangon will analyse current digital learning initiatives and produce actionable recommendations for future programming.
Key responsibilities
- Review evidence and lessons from tablet‑based learning, Learning Passport, Raspberry Pi pilots and offline AI tools.
- Assess infrastructure, device‑management, classroom operation and technology arrangements across diverse learning spaces.
- Document findings and translate them into practical recommendations for UNICEF’s adolescent skilling and digital education strategy.
- Prepare a final report with clear guidance for scaling and improving digital education programmes.
Required profile
- Master’s degree in Education, Educational Technology, IT, Computer Science, Instructional Design or International Development.
- Minimum five years of progressively responsible experience in international development, education, digital development, monitoring & evaluation, or programme research/evaluation.
- Proven ability to work independently and deliver high‑quality analytical reports.
Required skills
- Experience with digital education platforms (e.g., Learning Passport).
- Familiarity with tablet‑based learning solutions.
- Knowledge of Raspberry Pi or similar low‑cost hardware for offline learning.
- Understanding of internet connectivity challenges in low‑resource settings.
