Trade Executive – Myanmar Market Specialist

About the role

The Trade Executive will focus on Myanmar and international markets, collecting and analysing policy changes, import/export data, and market trends. You will support the company’s trading objectives by developing supplier relationships and coordinating with Chinese customers.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, organise and analyse policy changes, market information and business trends in both international and Myanmar markets.
• Analyse market demand, provide recommendations for sales and procurement strategies.
• Conduct market research in Myanmar and identify potential suppliers based on business requirements.
• Develop and maintain relationships with Myanmar suppliers to ensure a stable supply network.
• Negotiate pricing, commercial terms and coordinate contract preparation and signing with suppliers.
• Coordinate contract preparation, review, negotiation and signing with Chinese customers.
• Track order execution, production progress, shipment arrangements and on‑site loading inspection.
• Follow up on document review, customs declaration, settlement and after‑sales service with operations personnel.
• Monitor overall progress of trading transactions to ensure timely completion.
• Maintain accurate records of suppliers, customers, contracts, quotations, orders, shipments and related documents.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in international trading, procurement, sourcing, import/export or commercial operations.
• Experience in Myanmar domestic market sourcing and supplier management is highly preferred.
• Good understanding of import/export procedures, customs clearance and commercial documentation.
• Strong negotiation and communication abilities with suppliers and customers.
• Proficiency in English.
• Willingness to travel for supplier visits, customer meetings, market research and on‑site inspections.
