Technical Drafting Engineer – City Development

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site position is part of the Mandalay City Development Committee. The engineer will create detailed technical drawings and plans that support a variety of city development projects, including buildings, public spaces, infrastructure and utility works.

Key responsibilities

• Produce clear, precise and scalable technical drawings based on design specifications.
• Revise drawings according to feedback from engineers, architects and project managers.
• Ensure all drawings comply with local building, urban development and engineering standards.
• Maintain organized drawing archives and assist with site measurements when required.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to align drawings with project objectives and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Technical diploma or degree in drafting, engineering, architecture or a related field (preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to verify measurements.
• Effective communication skills for collaboration with internal departments.
• Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks and handle multiple projects in a structured environment.
• Prior experience in municipal, construction or infrastructure projects is an advantage.
