SRH Nurse – Sexual & Reproductive Health (Sittwe Township)

About the role

The SRH Nurse will deliver sexual and reproductive health (SRH) services in integrated centers and mobile clinics within Sittwe Township, supporting displaced and vulnerable populations. Working under the SRH Technical Manager and SRH Team Leader, the nurse will act as the focal point for SRH activities, community volunteer capacity building, and coordination with gender‑based violence (GBV) services.

Key responsibilities

• Provide SRH care, including family planning counseling, reproductive health counseling, and assisted SRH procedures.
• Deliver health education and awareness‑raising aligned with IRC, WHO, and standard protocols.
• Coordinate GBV‑related services between mobile clinics and WPE teams, ensuring a survivor‑centered approach.
• Set up client‑friendly GBV and SRH services in clinics and safe spaces.
• Administer and dispense prescribed medications, educate patients on conditions and side effects, and ensure correct dosage adherence.
• Maintain clinic hygiene, follow universal precautions, infection‑control, and instrument sterilization.
• Perform patient triage, keep accurate medical records, and manage medical supplies.
• Support monitoring and evaluation activities and build capacity of community volunteers.

Required profile

• Qualified nurse with experience in sexual and reproductive health service delivery.
• Ability to work in IDP camps or isolated villages and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Commitment to survivor‑centered GBV services and community outreach.
