Hospital Strategy & Clinical Development Officer

About the role

The Hospital Strategy & Clinical Development Officer will shape clinical strategy for new hospital projects, working closely with senior leadership and specialists to influence patient care from planning through launch.

Key responsibilities

• Support hospital planning, clinical service development, and operational readiness, including feasibility studies and patient care pathway design.
• Coordinate clinical requirements with doctors, nurses, architects, engineers, and consultants across facility layouts, equipment planning, and medical technology.
• Assist with regulatory compliance, clinical governance, patient safety, accreditation preparation, workflow testing, staff orientation, commissioning, and service launch.
• Monitor project milestones and prepare management reports.

Required profile

• MBBS or bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management, Public Health, Medical Sciences, or related field.
• 5–10 years of clinical experience with exposure to hospital operations or healthcare project development, or 2–5 years in clinical support/healthcare operations.
• Understanding of hospital operations, clinical workflows, patient safety, and healthcare regulations.
• Strong communication skills in Burmese and English.
• Postgraduate qualification or certification in hospital administration, healthcare quality, or project management is a plus.
