Senior Sales Executive

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Sales Executive to lead strategic sales and business development initiatives within the freight forwarding and customs clearance sector. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth, building long‑term client relationships, and guiding a high‑performing sales team.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales plans to exceed monthly, quarterly and annual targets.
• Identify new business opportunities through market research, networking and strategic outreach.
• Lead negotiations for high‑value contracts and pricing agreements.
• Provide mentorship, training and performance monitoring for Sales Executives and support staff.
• Oversee the end‑to‑end sales process, coordinating with Customer Service, Transport, Warehouse and Procurement.
• Prepare price comparisons, quotations, proposals and presentations.
• Produce detailed sales performance reports and maintain accurate customer data in HubSpot.
• Analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform strategic decisions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field (preferred).
• Minimum 4 years of experience in sales within the freight forwarding and customs clearance sector.
• Strong negotiation, presentation and communication skills.
• Proven ability to conduct customer needs analysis and deliver suitable solutions.
• Excellent problem‑solving, market research and industry awareness.
• Self‑motivated, target‑driven and fluent in English.
