Senior Marketing Officer – Premium Mobile (Myanmar)

About the role

Samsung is looking for a Senior Marketing Officer to lead the strategy, positioning and performance of its premium A‑series smartphone portfolio in Myanmar. You will be responsible for driving brand leadership, profitable growth and market share in the high‑end segment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute an integrated product marketing strategy across the full product lifecycle.
• Define premium positioning and communication plans to strengthen brand preference.
• Lead end‑to‑end product launch projects, including planning, execution and performance tracking.
• Formulate pricing and margin strategies for high‑end models, ensuring price protection and profitability.
• Manage partner margin structures and drive sustainable profitability.
• Collaborate with sales, supply chain, logistics, R&D and other internal teams to ensure operational excellence.
• Provide market insights, consumer trend analysis and strategic recommendations.
• Maintain strong relationships with key strategic partners and premium channels.
• Oversee marketing budget, P&L control and ROI analysis for the product line.
• Monitor product performance against targets and implement corrective actions.
• Act as product expert for innovation initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree (overseas) preferred.
• Proven experience in product marketing, preferably in the mobile or consumer electronics sector.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate market data into business plans.
• Excellent business English (written and verbal) and strong communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with high prioritisation and urgency.
