Quantity Surveyor – MEP Specialist

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site position is based in Hlaingthaya and focuses on preparing and reviewing Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for mechanical, electrical and plumbing works. The Quantity Surveyor will ensure cost accuracy, support tender evaluations and assist in contract administration.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review BOQs for MEP works, aligning with specifications and drawings.
• Monitor project costs, develop cost plans and budgets, and track expenditures against approved estimates.
• Produce regular cost reports, support tender evaluations, analyse quotations and manage variations.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers and contractors, verify progress claims and ensure compliance with company standards.
• Contribute to value engineering and cost optimisation initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• Strong numerical, analytical and problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for multidisciplinary on‑site teams.

Required skills

• BOQ preparation and measurement for MEP works.
• Cost planning, cost management and cost control.
• Cost reporting and variance analysis.
• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Experience with QS or estimating software.
