Project Manager – Integrated Child Protection, Health & Poverty

About the role

The Project Manager will lead the design, implementation and monitoring of an integrated humanitarian programme that addresses child protection, health and child poverty in Myanmar. Reporting to the Senior Program Manager, the role ensures that activities are delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and day‑to‑day management of the multi‑sectoral project.
• Oversee financial planning, procurement, budgeting (up to USD 20,000) and ensure compliance with donor requirements.
• Develop and maintain M&E plans linked to the programme‑wide MEAL system and produce regular narrative and data reports.
• Coordinate with partner organisations, UN agencies, government officials and other stakeholders.
• Build capacity of project staff and partners in collaboration with thematic leads and advisors.
• Prepare and submit donor narrative and financial reports in line with organisational and donor compliance.
• Represent the programme in external meetings and travel occasionally (up to 5 days per month).

Required profile

• Myanmar national with extensive experience in humanitarian project management.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multi‑disciplinary teams and manage budgets.
• Experience in child protection, health or poverty reduction programmes.
• Willingness to work flexible hours during emergencies and to travel as needed.
• Level 3 child safeguarding clearance.
