Project Manager – Educational Website

About the role

We are seeking a Project Manager to translate the founders’ vision for an educational website into concrete requirements and to coordinate delivery with an outsourced development partner. You will act as the primary liaison between the founders and the development team, ensuring the project stays within scope, timeline, and budget.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and document the founders’ business objectives, target users, and website requirements.
• Convert ideas into detailed project briefs, feature specifications, user flows, and acceptance criteria.
• Prioritize features, define scope for each development phase, and communicate requirements to the outsourced team.
• Review proposals, estimates, timelines, and deliverables against agreed requirements.
• Maintain a project plan, track milestones, dependencies, issues, and decisions.
• Coordinate feedback on designs and functionality, manage scope changes, and communicate impact on cost and schedule.
• Provide regular progress updates, highlight risks, and facilitate decision‑making.
• Organise user acceptance testing, track bugs, verify fixes, and prepare for launch.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of project management experience, preferably in website or digital product projects.
• Proven ability to understand business needs and convey them clearly to designers and developers.
• Experience preparing requirements, project plans, and progress reports.
• Basic understanding of website development, UI/UX, content management systems, and testing.
• Strong communication, organization, problem‑solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Familiarity with educational platforms or learning management systems is a plus.
