Project Associate

About the role

The Project Associate will support the Earthquake Response – Community Led Recovery and Reconstruction Project in Mandalay, Myanmar. Working under the Project Manager and alongside the Finance Officer, the incumbent will ensure smooth operational, administrative and logistical execution of project activities.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and updating the annual work plan and budget for the project.
• Provide financial, procurement and logistical support, including processing invoices and coordinating supplies.
• Maintain day‑to‑day management of the Mandalay office’s operational services.
• Prepare documentation, reports and data entries in line with UNDP procedures.
• Coordinate with internal and external partners to ensure timely delivery of project outputs.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in project administration, finance or logistics, preferably in humanitarian or development settings.
• Ability to work under supervision while taking initiative on routine tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and compliance with UNDP rules and procedures.

Required skills

• Basic financial and procurement administration.
• Office management and coordination.
• Proficiency in standard office software for documentation and reporting.
