Junior Project Coordinator

About the role

KFC Myanmar is looking for a Junior Project Coordinator to support its construction and fit‑out projects across the country. The role offers the chance to work closely with senior project staff, contractors and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of restaurant and retail renovations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in project design meetings, documenting requirements, discussions and action plans.
• Support planning, scheduling, monitoring and reporting activities for ongoing projects.
• Coordinate with project teams, contractors, suppliers and internal departments to achieve project milestones.
• Follow up on procurement activities and ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
• Maintain and update project drawings, documentation, records and filing systems.
• Prepare meeting minutes, reports, correspondence and other required documentation.
• Track project progress, costs, timelines and potential risks, reporting issues to the Project Coordinator.
• Support site inspections, defect rectification follow‑ups and information‑collection activities.
• Collaborate closely with Operations and other stakeholders to meet project requirements.
• Provide administrative and coordination support to the Project Coordinator and Senior Project Coordinator.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• 0–2 years of experience in construction, engineering, MEP, fit‑out or renovation projects (fresh graduates are welcome).
• Basic understanding of commercial renovation projects such as restaurants, retail outlets, banks, hotels and office fit‑outs.
• Good command of English and Myanmar, both written and spoken.
• Strong communication, coordination, organisational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, manage multiple tasks, work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and Microsoft Project.
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD 2D.
