Expansion Manager

About the role

The Expansion Manager drives retail growth by leading site acquisition, project execution, store openings and renovation deliveries. Reporting to the General Manager of Facilities Management, this role ensures expansion targets are met while maintaining quality, safety and cost standards.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate potential sites for new store expansion.
• Conduct site feasibility assessments and prepare approval proposals.
• Manage new store opening projects from planning through handover.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to ensure opening readiness.
• Lead renovation and fit‑out projects for convenience stores.
• Prepare and monitor project budgets, timelines and costs.
• Manage contractors, consultants, landlords and external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with company standards, regulatory requirements and HSE guidelines.
• Track project performance and provide regular management updates.
• Lead, coach and develop the Expansion team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in retail expansion, construction, project management or property development.
• At least 3 years of leadership experience managing teams.
