Head of Commercial Insights & Analytics

About the role

The Head of Commercial Insights & Analytics will lead the development of data‑driven strategies across the commercial organisation. Reporting to senior leadership, you will transform complex data sets into actionable insights that drive volume, revenue, profitability and market execution.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain analytical frameworks for sales force performance, incentive programs and distributor growth targets.
• Provide ROI evaluations for commercial initiatives, distributor trips and trade activation campaigns.
• Monitor sales execution across Traditional Trade, Modern Trade and Wholesale channels.
• Develop data‑driven strategies to optimise volume, revenue and margin.
• Track and evaluate promotional ROI and conduct deep‑dive market, competitor and channel profitability analyses.
• Build dynamic commercial dashboards and real‑time KPI trackers.
• Synthesise raw data into executive slide decks, performance charts and summary notes for the CEO and senior leadership team.
• Deliver actionable recommendations alongside reporting to accelerate decision‑making.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Data Analytics or related field (MBA preferred).
• 6–10 years of experience in commercial analysis, revenue management, financial planning or sales analytics, preferably in FMCG/Beverage.
• Strong commercial acumen of FMCG route‑to‑market, trade schemes and sales scorecards.
• Proven ability to turn unstructured data into clear, actionable insights.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with experience influencing senior leadership.
• Agile mindset capable of thriving in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Power BI or other business intelligence platforms.
• Ability to create C‑suite level presentations using PowerPoint.
