Finance Officer

About the role

We are looking for a Finance Officer to manage day‑to‑day accounting operations, ensure accurate cash handling and support the finance team in maintaining reliable financial records.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate records of cash transactions, accounts payable, accounts receivable and the cash book.
• Record daily cash transactions and ensure proper documentation and accuracy of accounting entries.
• Maintain organized filing of vouchers, invoices, receipts and supporting financial documents.
• Ensure accounting records are updated in compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations and investigate any discrepancies.
• Monitor petty‑cash transactions, ensuring proper recording and supporting documentation.
• Assist in reviewing financial transactions for accuracy and completeness.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Basic knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS/MFRS) and Myanmar tax regulations is an advantage.
• Strong organizational and time‑management abilities with a focus on meeting deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Honest, responsible and committed to maintaining confidentiality.

Required skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Familiar with accounting software such as SQL, QuickBooks, SAP or similar ERP systems.
