Chief People Officer

About the role

We are seeking a strategic Chief People Officer to shape the people agenda for the next phase of growth at a leading FMCG company in Myanmar. The role will drive talent management frameworks, organisational culture, and company‑wide transformation initiatives while partnering closely with the CEO and senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute a comprehensive people strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Build and embed talent management and organisational development frameworks across the enterprise.
• Lead cultural transformation and change‑management programmes at a company‑wide level.
• Own the end‑to‑end people function, influencing talent acquisition, development, retention and performance.
• Serve as a member of the executive leadership team, providing HR insight to strategic decisions.

Required profile

• Degree in Human Resources, Business or a related field.
• Minimum 15 years of HR experience, including senior leadership roles such as CPO, CHRO or HR Director, preferably in manufacturing or FMCG.
• Proven track record designing and leading talent management and organisational development strategies.
• Growth mindset with experience driving large‑scale business transformation, scale‑up or change management.
• Excellent senior stakeholder management skills, comfortable influencing boards, CEOs and regional leaders.
• Fluent in English and Myanmar with strong local market experience.
