Business Development Manager

About the role

Join Myanmar Metro Bank as a Business Development Manager and drive the bank's growth strategy. You will lead high‑impact initiatives, expand into new markets, and consistently meet ambitious financial targets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement business development initiatives aligned with the bank’s long‑term growth objectives.
• Identify new market opportunities, customer segments, industries and potential partners to expand the bank’s portfolio.
• Maintain a healthy pipeline of leads, manage the sales process and ensure timely conversion of qualified prospects.
• Collaborate with marketing, product development and other departments to align sales efforts with overall business goals.
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations, pitches and proposals to high‑potential clients.
• Mentor and coach the business development team to improve sales skills and product knowledge.
• Monitor sales KPIs, analyse trends and report regularly to the Business Development Head.
• Conduct market research to target high‑growth industries and design outreach strategies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of direct sales experience in the financial sector with a proven track record in Myanmar.
• Deep understanding of the sales cycle and ability to close deals.
• Strong knowledge of Myanmar’s financial landscape and regulatory environment.
• Fluency in Burmese and English.
