Backend Developer

About the role

We are looking for a Backend Developer to design, develop, and maintain backend services using .NET Core and Java/Spring Boot. The role supports both mobile and web applications and requires strong database and cloud integration skills.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services with .NET Core and Java/Spring Boot.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints for mobile and web clients.
• Manage and optimise SQL and NoSQL databases such as MS SQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
• Implement security, authentication, and authorization best practices.
• Integrate applications with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and mentor junior developers.
• Troubleshoot, monitor, and optimise backend performance and reliability.

Required profile

• Proven experience with .NET Core (C#, ASP.NET Core, WebAPI, MVC).
• Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and teamwork mindset.
• Experience mentoring junior developers.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced startup environment.
