About the role

The Technical Support Engineer provides after‑sales technical assistance and on‑site service for power‑system customers across Myanmar, Thailand and Laos. The role combines field support, customer training, and technical liaison with the NR team to ensure successful project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver after‑sales technical support and on‑site service for customers in Myanmar, Thailand and Laos.
• Conduct customer training sessions on power‑system products and solutions.
• Support marketing and sales activities, including technical seminars, product demonstrations, site surveys, and tender preparation.
• Act as the interface between customers and the NR team during project implementation and maintenance, handling factory acceptance tests, technical clarifications, and feedback.
• Manage projects and control risks when NR acts as the solution provider.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience, with at least 1 year in electric power products and systems preferred.
• Fluent in English; Chinese language skills are a plus.
• Strong understanding of protection, control and automation products for power systems.
• Proficiency in secondary circuit design and analysis.
• Excellent presentation and facilitation abilities.
• Team‑oriented, flexible and willing to travel for on‑site assignments.
• Competent in MS Office and AutoCAD.
• Capability to install and commission substation systems, including solar projects and BESS.
