Web Developer

About the role

Village Link Company Limited, a leading agriculture technology firm in Myanmar, is seeking a skilled Web Developer to join its software team. You will help build and maintain scalable web applications that support precision farming advisory and market linkage services for smallholder farmers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Laravel‑based web applications.
• Design, optimize, and manage MySQL databases for performance and reliability.
• Implement RESTful APIs and integrate third‑party services.
• Create responsive front‑end interfaces using HTML, CSS, React and JavaScript.
• Apply caching solutions such as Redis or Memcached to improve scalability.
• Write clean, secure, and maintainable code, and participate in code reviews.
• Collaborate with the team following Agile development practices.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience with Laravel and PHP.
• Strong knowledge of MySQL query optimization and indexing.
• Proficiency in front‑end technologies: HTML, CSS, React, JavaScript.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively.
