About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled Burmese transcription specialist to join our remote team. The role involves converting video content into accurate, timestamped text while capturing linguistic nuances and cultural context.

Key responsibilities

• Transcribe video content with precise timestamps and high accuracy.
• Identify and describe emotional undertones and expressiveness of speakers.
• Analyze grammatical structures, tone, and contextual meaning within dialogues.
• Define and clarify complex Myanmar and English terms, preserving conceptual depth.
• Produce high‑quality written outputs that reflect linguistic nuance and cultural context.
• Support advanced language tasks such as language evaluation and content annotation.

Required profile

• Exceptional proficiency in both Myanmar (Burmese) and English, written and verbal.
• Demonstrated experience with transcription, translation, or linguistic analysis.
• Deep understanding of Myanmar cultural cues, emotionality, and linguistic variations.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with complex language data.
• Proficiency in digital communication tools and ability to manage remote work independently.
