Software QA Tester – On-site Contract

About the role

ShopDoora is looking for a Software QA Tester to join its Yangon team on a contract basis. The tester will ensure that new features and bug‑fixes meet the company’s quality standards before release, contributing directly to the reliability of the platform that supports local businesses across Myanmar.

Key responsibilities

• Design, write and execute manual and automated test cases for web and mobile applications.
• Perform functional, regression and cross‑browser/device testing to validate new features and fixes.
• Document test results, log defects and track them through resolution using bug‑tracking tools.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product owners and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure timely issue resolution.
• Maintain and update test documentation, test plans and test‑management system entries.
• Participate in test‑review meetings and suggest improvements to testing processes.

Required profile

• Strong test execution skills, with experience creating and running both manual and automated test cases.
• Good understanding of software quality assurance methodologies and best practices.
• Analytical mindset to identify issues, perform root‑cause analysis and propose enhancements.
• Experience with bug tracking and test management tools is a plus.
• Familiarity with web and mobile application testing, including cross‑browser and cross‑device scenarios.
• Effective communication in English and Myanmar, and ability to work in a cross‑functional team.
• Relevant certification or coursework in software testing or computer science is advantageous.
