Shelter Team Leader – Rapid Response Mechanism (RRM)

About the role

The purpose of the Team Leader is to manage and coordinate the implementation of the Rapid Response Mechanism (RRM) project for the South‑east Myanmar offices, supporting the Shelter Project Coordinator as the RRM focal point for NRC.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in providing guidance, support, and operational oversight to NRC RRM national implementing partners.
• Assist in developing and supporting the roll‑out of RRM in the SE, ensuring the use of harmonised RRM tools and approaches.
• Communicate with downstream partners to ensure adequate contingency planning and preparedness in targeted townships and monitor early warning indicators.
• Ensure quality of implementation by monitoring results, following up on post‑distribution monitoring, and conducting After Action Reviews.

Required profile

• Academic background in Development or Humanitarian Aid.
• At least 2 years experience in shelter and emergency project implementation in a humanitarian/recovery context.
• At least 2 years experience working with local NGOs, CSOs or CBOs.
• Previous experience in complex and volatile contexts.
• Documented results related to the position’s responsibilities.
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
