About the role

The Shelter Team Leader will manage and coordinate the implementation of the Rapid Response Mechanism (RRM) project for South‑east Myanmar offices, supporting the Shelter Project Coordinator as the RRM focal point for NRC.

Key responsibilities

• Provide guidance, support and operational oversight to NRC RRM national implementing partners.
• Develop and support the roll‑out of RRM in South‑east Myanmar, ensuring use of harmonised tools and approaches.
• Communicate with downstream partners to ensure contingency planning, preparedness in targeted townships and monitor early‑warning indicators.
• Oversee RRM activities, act as an information hub between implementing partners and facilitate decision‑making.
• Monitor implementation quality through post‑distribution monitoring and conduct After Action Reviews.

Required profile

• Academic background in Development or Humanitarian Aid.
• Minimum 2 years experience in shelter and emergency project implementation in a humanitarian or recovery context.
• At least 2 years experience working with local NGOs, CSOs or CBOs.
• Experience in complex and volatile contexts with documented results.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
