Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer to lead testing initiatives for our enterprise software solutions. The role focuses on building robust automated test frameworks, ensuring high‑quality releases, and mentoring the QA team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead QA activities throughout the software development lifecycle, including test planning, execution, defect management, and release validation.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts for web, API, and regression testing.
• Create test strategies, test plans, and test cases while ensuring quality standards are upheld.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, API, and database testing for enterprise applications.
• Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, developers, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure delivery quality.
• Manage the defect lifecycle, conduct root cause analysis, and drive continuous quality improvements.
• Support UAT, deployment validation, production verification, and post‑go‑live activities.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and promote QA best practices.

Required profile

• 5‑8+ years of experience in software quality assurance, including automation testing.
• Strong experience with automation tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or Appium.
• Experience in API testing and automation using tools like Postman or REST Assured.
• Background with enterprise applications (e.g., finance, ERP, estate management, or workflow systems).
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies, SDLC, testing processes, and defect management.
• Experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Preferred: experience leading QA activities or mentoring, cloud‑based applications, and performance testing.
