Senior Finance Executive

About the role

The Senior Finance Executive will lead the finance function for our client in Yangon, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance. This full‑time, on‑site role involves close collaboration with internal teams and external auditors to support strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and consolidate financial statements in accordance with applicable standards.
• Manage monthly, quarterly and annual reporting cycles, delivering timely insights to senior management.
• Monitor cash flow, support budgeting and forecasting processes, and analyse financial data to guide business decisions.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including Goods and Services Tax (GST) filing and reporting.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax authorities and other external stakeholders.
• Identify and implement improvements to financial processes and internal controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field; professional certification such as ACCA is a plus.
• Proven experience in a senior or supervisory finance role, preferably within a fast‑moving environment.
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work on‑site in Yangon, meet deadlines and collaborate across functions.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software.
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
• Knowledge of GST compliance and financial reporting standards.
