Assistant Account Manager

About the role

The Assistant Account Manager will support the finance team in preparing financial statements, reports and management information. The role ensures accurate recording of transactions and compliance with accounting standards within a telecom environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, financial reports and management reports.
• Ensure timely and accurate recording of financial transactions in line with accounting principles.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes to guarantee correct and prompt payments and collections.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required documents and information.
• Handle quarterly and annual commercial tax, income tax returns and other regulatory reports.
• Liaise with tax officers and respond to tax inquiries.
• Perform ad‑hoc finance tasks as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or a related field.
• Professional diploma or certification is a plus.
• 3–5 years of accounting experience in the ISP/telecom industry.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting and regulatory compliance.
• Experience with accounting software.
• Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• High ethical standards and integrity in financial practices.
