Senior Associate – Strategy & Finance

About the role

Yoma Strategic Holdings is seeking a Senior Associate to join its Strategy & Finance team. Based at the Pun Hlaing Estate, you will lead strategy and financing projects, own workstreams, and provide analysis for the group’s strategic initiatives. The role involves both domestic and occasional international travel.

Key responsibilities

• Support the development of group‑wide and business‑specific strategies.
• Independently build and analyse financial and operational business models.
• Gather market and competitive intelligence and monitor emerging trends.
• Lead cross‑functional projects with internal business units.
• Manage due‑diligence, negotiations, and external agency relationships for acquisitions and financing.
• Analyse financial performance of businesses and report findings to senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree from a top‑tier institution or equivalent academic experience.
• 4+ years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, or a comparable field.
• Strong analytical ability to assess financial statements and construct business models.
• Comfort presenting recommendations to senior decision‑makers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Proactive, independent work style in ambiguous environments.
