Senior Financial Analyst

About the role

The Senior Financial Analyst will join Trust Venture Partners in Yangon on a full‑time, on‑site basis. The role involves preparing, analysing and interpreting financial statements and reports to support advisory engagements, investment decisions and corporate transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse financial statements, reports and dashboards for client projects.
• Develop and maintain complex financial models for fundraising, valuation and M&A transactions.
• Conduct financial planning, budgeting and forecasting to support investment analysis.
• Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis for corporate restructuring and project management.
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients throughout due‑diligence processes.
• Present findings and recommendations clearly to both financial and non‑financial stakeholders.
• Support compliance with regulatory and reporting standards, including IFRS.
• Mentor junior analysts and contribute to continuous process improvements.

Required profile

• Strong finance and financial planning background, including budgeting, forecasting and investment analysis.
• Robust analytical ability to interpret complex data for decision‑making.
• Solid knowledge of financial statements and reporting standards such as IFRS.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field; CFA or CPA is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial insights to non‑financial audiences.
• Attention to detail, integrity and a collaborative mindset in a fast‑paced, client‑focused environment.
• Prior experience in financial advisory, investment banking or corporate finance, preferably in emerging markets.
