Senior Accountant

About the role

Thanlyin Estate Development Ltd. is seeking a Senior Accountant to oversee all financial transactions, ensure accurate record‑keeping, and support the company’s growth in the real‑estate sector. The role involves managing both payables and receivables, preparing financial statements, and coordinating with auditors.

Key responsibilities

• Track all payments and expenditures, including contracts, work orders, purchase orders, invoices and statements.
• Prepare payable and receivable update lists, cash‑flow forecasts and monthly financial reports.
• Ensure financial records comply with applicable standards and regulations.
• Process invoices promptly and manage timely collection of payments.
• Conduct credit checks and maintain internal controls.
• Prepare consolidated monthly statements of financial position and profit & loss.
• Assist in budget development in collaboration with the operations team.
• Handle tax returns, tax payments and liaise with tax authorities.
• Coordinate external audits and support the senior finance manager as needed.
• Lead and mentor the finance team.

Required profile

• University degree (B.Com or B.Act preferred) with ACCA or Diploma in IFR.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Proficient in English (speaking, reading, writing, listening).
