Sales Engineer – Renewable Energy

About the role

The Sales Engineer role at Indigo Energy is a full‑time, on‑site position in Yangon, Myanmar. You will bridge technical expertise and sales to drive renewable energy projects that support local communities and economic growth.

Key responsibilities

• Identify customer needs and present technical solutions for renewable energy projects.
• Prepare proposals, conduct site visits and deliver technical presentations to prospective and existing clients.
• Provide pre‑ and post‑sales technical support and respond to technical inquiries.
• Collaborate with engineering and project teams to ensure solutions meet technical and commercial requirements.
• Track sales opportunities, assist in negotiations and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical or related engineering discipline.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities.
• Ability to combine technical knowledge with a sales mindset.
• Willingness to travel for site visits and client meetings.
• Prior experience in solar sales, EPC or renewable energy is a plus.
