Railway Electrification Engineer (LAC, SS/EE & TTMM)

About the role

We are looking for a Railway Electrification Engineer to join Ingerop’s technical consultancy team. The professional will work on national and international projects covering catenary, traction power substations and energy telecontrol systems.

Key responsibilities

• Develop design and construction projects for railway electrification, including overhead contact lines, high‑voltage lines, substations and autotransformer centres.
• Prepare and interpret electrical schematics, single‑line diagrams and control‑protection drawings.
• Perform electrical and mechanical calculations, load studies and dimensioning of power equipment.
• Support technical offers and tender submissions in Spain and abroad.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (signalling, civil works, telecommunications, rolling stock).
• Review technical documentation from suppliers and installers.

Required profile

• Degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3–8 years of experience in railway electrification projects, preferably in a consultancy or engineering firm.
• Master’s degree or specialised railway engineering training is a plus.
