Quantity Surveyor (Electrical) – Solar Projects

About the role

The Quantity Surveyor (Electrical) will join our solar design team to ensure projects are delivered on budget and on time, from initial design and quotation through installation, testing and hand‑over.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed project budgets covering materials, labour, transport and installation costs.
• Prepare Bills of Quantities, bills of material and complete tender packages.
• Research market prices for solar equipment to produce accurate, competitive quotations.
• Carry out on‑site inspections and measurements to verify quantities and progress.
• Collaborate with Operations, Procurement and Finance to finalise quotations.
• Ensure all estimates and activities comply with industry standards, building regulations and health‑safety requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering or Solar/Renewable Energy Engineering.
• 1–2 years of experience as an Electrical Quantity Surveyor.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Required skills

• Proficiency with AutoCAD.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office applications.
