Site Engineer – Data Center Operations

About the role

The Site Engineer will support the U9 Data Center Managed Service operations, providing power, thermal and DCIM expertise. The role ensures smooth day‑to‑day site activities, rapid incident response, and effective coordination with vendors and customers.

Key responsibilities

• Produce daily reports, escalate issues, and perform Level‑1 tasks as requested by customers.
• Conduct regular site patrols, identify and report minor and major abnormalities.
• Answer fault or incident calls within 5‑10 minutes and oversee system recovery.
• Execute monthly preventive maintenance on critical equipment.
• Assist and supervise IT and telecom vendors during equipment and structured cabling installations, ensuring compliance with data‑center standards.
• Monitor alarms and incidents against SLA/KPI metrics and provide timely updates.
• Perform shift handovers to avoid information gaps.
• Prepare incident, daily, and recommendation reports for clients.
• Troubleshoot and replace common components such as relays, contactors, sockets, and small‑amp breakers.
• Complete any additional tasks assigned by the customer.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
• Experience in data‑center operations, building management, or generator maintenance.
• Willingness to work shift schedules and relocate temporarily within a city in Myanmar.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to work under pressure.
